About these terms

These terms apply to purchases from modusbikes.com.au, operated by Modus Bikes. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Intended use

Modus e-bikes are high powered and intended for off road and private property use only. They are not classified as road legal e-bikes in Australia and are not for use on public roads, footpaths or shared paths. They do not meet the definition of an electrically power assisted cycle (EPAC) and cannot be registered for public road use. Riders are responsible for complying with the local laws that apply in their state or territory. We always recommend a helmet and appropriate protective gear.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel and refund any order affected by one. If your order has not yet shipped, contact us and we will change or cancel it. Once dispatched, orders cannot be recalled, but our 7 day change of mind policy applies from the day your bike arrives.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, PayPal and Zip.

Warranty and returns

Our warranty and returns terms are set out in the Refund and Warranty Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Rider safety

Modus e-bikes are intended for confident, capable riders. Always wear appropriate protective gear, ride within your ability, and supervise younger riders where appropriate.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Modus Bikes is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of our products contrary to their intended purpose or applicable law.
